About Driggs:
Driggs in Eastern Idaho rests at 6,200 ft. in the Teton Valley. The Grand Tetons tower in the east, and to the west are the rolling Big Hole Mountains. Jackson Hole, Wyoming is directly east on the other side of the Tetons. Thus, the Teton Valley has been dubbed the "the quiet side of the Tetons." With a population of 1,700, this small community offers full amenities, breathtaking scenery and a long list of things to do. The nearest major airport is in Idaho Falls, and you can also fly into Jackson Hole, WY. Driggs is a little gem not too far off the beaten path!
Driggs offers year-round recreation, relaxation and fun. Nearby Grand Targhee Resort offers phenomenal skiing and snowboarding, as well as year round recreation on and near the mountain. Driggs hosts the Mountain Arts Festival in July, featuring more than 30 hot air balloons in a race overlooking the majestic Grand Teton Mountain Range and four days of balloon rides, games, parades, rodeo action, a golf tournament, bike races, a fiddler's contest and a craft and antique fair.
