Hailey is located in South Central Idaho in the Wood River Valley at the edge of the Sawtooth and Challis National Forests. The majestic Sawtooth Wilderness is located immediately to the north. Hailey is growing town with a population of 6,200. Average summer temperature is 75° and average winter temperature is 23°. The annual snowfall of 150 inches makes for great winter fun. Long summer days allow for hours of play on the golf course or in the mountains.
Hailey's airport offers flights with Skywest (Delta) and Horizon. Boise is less than a 3-hour drive away. Sun Valley's Bald Mountain is just 9 miles north. Special events include; Fiddlers Contest in April, Springfest - an arts and crafts fair in May, Folk Festival in August and Trailing of the Sheep in October.
