Elkhorn Golf Course Description:
Situated on 280acres at the base of Dollar Mountain, Elkhorn Resort's championship golf course is at the heart of the awe-inspiring wilderness that is central Idaho's Big Wood River Valley. This is the last course designed together by the famous father/son team of Robert Trent Jones Sr./Jr. The front nine, with Jones, Sr.'s influence, features hilly terrain and wide open hitting areas and vistas. The back nine is shorter and narrower, the design influenced by Jones, Jr., has a meandering stream throughout the entire nine. With 63 bunkers, every hole is visually apealing and demanding.
